The organization revealed Friday that the Portland Trail Blazers fired the president of basketball operations and general supervisor Neil Olshey after examining claims that he developed a hazardous office.
A few members of the company were informed of the choice Thursday night after a 31-point defeat by the San Antonio Spurs; sources told news presses.
Olshey had been with the Blazers since 2012.

Following the independent evaluation of concerns and problems around our workplace environment at the practice facility, the Portland Trail-Blazers organization has decided to end General Manager and President of Basketball Operations Neil Olshey, reliable immediately due to infractions the Portland Trail Blazers” Standard Procedure. We will not release or discuss it out of regard for those who openly took part in that privileged investigation. We are ‘confident’ that these changes will help develop a more favorable and respectful working environment. Joe Cronin has been promoted to’ interim’ General Manager while management searches for a permanent replacement.”
