Members of the industry who have been carefully affected have also been sharing their experiences.
Alyona Gromova, Eastern-European Head of Sales at SBC, described the impact on her household: “I will never forget the morning of February 24th, 2022, which began with a highly early call from my brother.
” He told me that he interrupted his business journey and that he was trying to return house because the war had started. I can not put into words how this early morning altered my life. I am far from my household now, and it is challenging.
” The hours are not the same, and I practically remain restless all night until the morning comes so that I can phone and text my pals and family members inquiring about their safety.
” Last week has been horrible in my life. I am simply praying that the war will end up soon, never to happen once again. I thank you all for your support.”
Many companies will have unused stock from planned advertising activities over the past couple of years for events that didn’t happen. This stock can provide a massive increase for refugees who have left all their ownerships. Companies wishing to contribute this additional stock should contact karolinapelc@beyondplay.io.
